South Korea loses to Iran
MANILA, Philippines - South Korea fell short against the bigger Iranian national team losing 65-76 in the preliminary round of the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship.
After they made a huge upset in beating powerhouse China in their opening game yesterday, they were leading 34-30, after the first half until fatigue finally caught up with them.
Iran took a 51-41 lead entering the payoff period, dominating the rest of the way.
Hammed Haddadi and Bahrami combined for 53 points and 20 boards as Korea helplessly watched the duo dominate the front court.
